SOQTAPATA offers visitors the opportunity to bond with nature through an immersion into the wild.

A wonderful journey filled with possibilities to witness spectacular landscapes, sight a wide variety of plants and wildlife, relax in soothing natural sounds and experience a range of climates and scenario changes.

December through March is considered the rainy season with nice cool weather and a great opportunity for birdwatching activities. April through November is a drier season with warmer weather during the day and cooler evenings and nights, perfect for bathing in the riverbeds and receiving a nice massage in the natural pools.

Amazing Journey


Your journey will begin before we reach the natural reserve with an incredible roadtrip crossing next to a spectacular mountain range and two beautiful snowy peaks called Cuyuni at 4,125 m.s.n.m. and Pirhuayani at 4,725 m.s.n.m. We will then start descending and begin to experience the amazing changes from snow and dry landscapes to green and robust vegetation with warmer weather and incredible waterfalls.

Natural Reconecction

SOQTAPATA is part of one of the best preserved forests on the planet. This trip is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with nature, breathe clean air and bathe in energizing natural pools of water. There is no Wifi at SOQTAPATA allowing you to awaken your senses to the magic of nature in all its splendour.

Treks & Adventure


At SOQTAPATA there are several treks that vary in levels of difficulty. Our 9,600 hectares are made up of six floors that range from 900 to 4,600 metres above sea level. We currently offer a variety of routes up to 2,000 metres above sea level where you can experience great views, bath in crystal pools and probably see monkeys and a variety of colorful birds, plants and butterflies.

Incredible Flora&Fauna


SOQTAPATA is considered one of the few Tropical Andes Hotspots on the planet and it offers a vast variety of Flora & Fauna, much which has not yet been identified. Bromelias, Heliconias, Ferns, Orchids, Wolley Monkeys, Blue Morpho Butterflies, Oropendolas, Andean Cock of the Rocks, Spectacled Bears, Pumas, Jaguars, Black Tinamou are some of the species you will find between our Base Camp and Camps I and II.

Yoga For All


As part of our experience at SOQTAPATA, reconnecting with nature is possible thanks to the clean air and purifying natural water pools that form all around our conservation concession. Meditation & Yoga is a must on this journey and if you concentrate enough, you will be able to use all your senses to experience calmness and balance.


Organic Cooking Classes

In addition to our meditation and yoga experience, we are able to offer fresh Yuca, Ginger, Curcumin and Herbal Teas, straight from our garden, providing a natural detox for your mind, body and soul. We will talk about medicinal properties of several ingredients that you can apply on a daily basis once you return home. You will also learn to prepare dishes from our famous Peruvian Cuisine; treats such as Chilcanos, Pisco Sour, Chicha Morada, Papas a la Huancaina, Yucas Fritas and Quinoa based dishes. 



SOQTAPATA encourages visitors to stay at least 2 nights in order to enjoy most of the suggested activities.


The trip from Cusco and back takes about half a day which is why we suggest the following packages allowing for extra nights if you wish to enjoy more time with nature.
